So I did some redding up in the library last week and finally did something I really wanted to do: I made a “to read” shelf for myself and for Hawk. My plan now is to consolidate those into a single shelf so I have a place to put the Agatha Christie novels I went apeshit buying after I finished The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. Nowwhen I want a new read, I can just go in & grab something.

As I say on the caption for this picture: “This doesn’t include the short story collection or six Agatha Christie novels I haven’t put away yet, two books I’ve started and haven’t gotten back to, my current nightstand read and a bathroom book. Some of these are books I’ve started & not finished (Garden of Eden, the 2005 Non-Required Reading collection, etc.).” Ya know, I don’t even remember what the bathroom book is right now. I may not have one. I don’t think I do. I think I’m just savoring the new BUST in those precious few minutes I have to read each day TMI, I know, I know. But you parents know what I’m saying.

So there’s my challenge to you for this week: Show me what you’d like to read next, be it a single magazine, a novel or a whole shelf full of stuff. Better yet, show me your book space. Exactly how “out of book space” are you? Oh and please link back to this entry so we can all see. Kthxbai.

Okay, I am so sick of fucking with my templates and disappearing style sheets and my bloghost going down that, since I’m 100% ad-free again, I’m going to come back to WordPress. I haven’t decided if I’m doing this URL or my old one. Maybe you should vote.
